Ben Affleck shares a heartwarming embrace with his 19-year-old daughter Violet at his Brentwood home as the destructive LA wildfires rage on
On Saturday, Ben Affleck shared a touching moment with his 19-year-old daughter, Violet, outside his home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, amid the ongoing fires ravaging the area.

The 52-year-old actor appeared visibly relieved as he embraced his eldest child, who is preparing to return to Yale University for the spring term.
Affleck, whose recently purchased Pacific Palisades home survived the devastating fire earlier in the week, has been staying at a rental property in Brentwood following his separation from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.
The couple finalized their divorce in just over four months, after Lopez filed on August 22, 2024, according to *Today*.

Violet, taking precautions against the smoke and hazardous air quality, wore an N-95 mask. She looked at ease in a black hoodie, dark jeans, and square-framed glasses.
Affleck was casually dressed in a cream-toned jacket over a matching hoodie, paired with gray joggers. His neatly trimmed beard and closely cropped dark hair completed the laid-back look.
The actor also shares children Fin, 16, and Sam, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, whom he was married to from 2005 to 2018.

The couple is known for their strong co-parenting relationship. Garner, who has been deeply affected by the fires, expressed her heartache over the devastation, sharing how her community has been hit hard.
«My heart bleeds for my friends,» Garner said. «I could easily list 100 families who have lost their homes. I feel almost guilty walking through my house.»
Garner, who has lived near the Palisades for 25 years, has been volunteering with chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen, providing food for evacuees.

The *Alias* star also mentioned the loss of a close friend in the fires, sharing the painful news in an interview with MSNBC, her voice breaking as she recalled how the friend didn’t make it out in time.
Meanwhile, evacuation orders were issued Saturday for parts of Brentwood, as well as Encino and Tarzana, putting around 12,000 structures in jeopardy.
The Palisades fire, which has scorched over 22,000 acres, is only 11% contained, while the Eaton fire, affecting parts of Pasadena and Altadena, has burned more than 14,000 acres and is 15% contained.
