‘I feel sorry about our country’ Sabrina Carpenter speaks on Trump winning at her concert
In response to former President Donald Trump’s triumph against Vice President Kamala Harris, Sabrina Carpenter is being open about her feelings.

On Wednesday, the day following the 2024 election, the 25-year-old musician appeared on stage at Seattle, Washington’s Climate Pledge Arena.
She took some of her downtime between songs to apologize to her followers for our nation, as shown in fan videos.
In order to approach the supporters near the stage, Sabrina, who registered voters before the election, knelt down in a transparent black bodysuit.

She said in a calming voice, «I hope we can be a moment of peace for you, a moment of safety.»
I apologize for our nation. She went on, to the roaring applause of the audience, «And to the women in here, I love you so, so, so, so, so much.»
«And I sincerely hope you can have a good time for the remainder of this evening, as you truly deserve it,» she said.
Sabrina was cautious not to call Trump by name, but it was obvious from her words that she didn’t like him.

She was recognized by the nonprofit HeadCount as having registered more voters than any other artist before the election.
During her Short n’ Sweet album tour, the Espresso hitmaker raised voter registration by 35,814 more people than any other artist working with the group, according to HeadCount.
A nationwide non-profit group called HeadCount collaborates with musicians to encourage American citizens to participate in democracy, particularly through voter registration campaigns.

Variety reports that in addition to voter registrations, Carpenter also urged 263,087 other voters to participate.
Taste, Espresso, and Please Please Please are Carpenter’s most well-known successes; the last peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles list.
Ariana Grande, who partnered with the group to register 15,591 new voters, came in just behind Carpenter.

During the 2024 presidential election, celebrities were very involved, and most of them backed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump.
Two weeks ago, Beyoncé made an appearance on Kamala Harris’s campaign tour in Texas, where she let the vice president to play her song «Freedom.»
Following comic Tony Hinchcliffe’s obscene remark at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally that Puerto Rico is a «floating island of garbage,» Bad Bunny voiced his support behind Harris.

Six days before the 2024 election, former Republican governor of California and Terminator actor Arnold Schwarzenegger gave Harris an unusual presidential support.
Since Schwarzenegger replaced Trump on Celebrity Apprentice during his initial presidential campaign in 2015, he and Trump have been at odds.
Several well-known people, including Dennis Quaid, Hulk Hogan, Amber Rose, Jason Aldean, Kelsey Grammer, and Roseanne Barr, came out in support of Donald Trump.

Following a two-hour chat with Elon Musk, Joe Rogan also gave Trump his endorsement in the 2024 election.
Just hours before the votes began, Rogan posted on X, «We’d be f***ed if it weren’t for him [Musk].»
He presents what I believe to be the strongest defense of Trump you will ever hear, and I wholeheartedly concur with him.

For the record, that is a Trump endorsement. Have fun with the podcast.
The podcaster’s 2020 endorsement of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., a self-described democratic socialist who contributed to the creation of the Green New Deal, was a sharp turnaround.
