Inside Selena Gomez and Jennifer Aniston’s Galentine’s Celebration: ‘We Sister-Mother Each Other’ (Exclusive)
On the evening of February 5, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Aniston reunited to host a glamorous, beauty-filled celebration in Los Angeles.

The close-knit friends, both influential figures in the beauty industry, co-hosted an empowering Galentine’s Day event at the San Vicente Bungalows, bringing together their respective beauty brands—Gomez’s Rare Beauty and Aniston’s LolaVie.
Dressed in coordinated all-black ensembles, the two stars opened up about their deep, lasting friendship as they mingled and posed for photos with a small group of women.
«I’ve known Jen for over a decade, and she’s always been someone I admire… she’s always had my back,» said Gomez, 32, reflecting on their long history.

She also revealed the upcoming launch of Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush, set for late March with early access for U.S. and Canadian residents.
«It’s so special to have people in your life who listen and offer great advice,» she added.
Aniston, 55, whose brand LolaVie will soon release a Peptide Plumping Volume Spray, expressed how their bond was one of mutual support: «We sister-mother each other, doing our best to be there for one another.»

During her opening remarks, Jennifer Aniston took a moment to acknowledge the recent fires in the Los Angeles area, becoming emotional as she reflected on the «challenging couple of weeks» the city had endured.
«I hope everyone is safe. It’s been a tough time,» Aniston said. Later, she and Gomez enjoyed *Clueless* together, joking about their friend Paul Rudd.
«We thought his career needed a reminder… so we picked *Clueless*,» Aniston teased, noting Rudd «still looks the same.»

Gomez, who starred with Rudd in *The Fundamentals of Caregiving* and *Only Murders in the Building*, added, «I’ve kept him looking good, but then I send him back to you.»
Gomez has said that she and Aniston connected through their management teams in 2015, quickly becoming close.
«She invited me over, and I found out she had a pizza oven… she’s so cool and gives me motherly advice.»
