Kim Kardashian is encouraging her fans to put their health first, after undergoing a radiation-free MRI, which provides early detection for more than 500 cancers and diseases.
After the comprehensive exam, which costs $2,499, the 42-year-old reality star, who is currently suffering from a broken shoulder and a torn tendon, urged her followers to get a Prenuvo scan.
‘The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in its earliest stages, before symptoms arise.
It was like getting a MRI for an hour with no radiation. It has really saved some of my friends lives and I just wanted to share,’ she captioned a photo of her next to the ‘life-saving machine.’
She concluded the post by adding the hashtag, #NotAnAd.
In the image, the mother-of-four could be seen wearing grey scrubs, her hair in a ponytail and slippers.
Prenuvo shared the image on their Instagram Story as well as a note that praised her ‘generous goodwill support.’
‘With 1 in 20 patients of Prenuvo getting alerted to potentially life-saving findings, you are literally saving lives,’ the company added.
‘We cannot wait to keep working on our side to make this more widely accessible, lowering cost, and convincing the insurance systems to start covering proactive healthcare.’
Speaking to Kardashian, directly, Prenuvo concluded they are ‘so glad to hear’ they ‘impacted the health trajectory of’ her friends.
Despite her best efforts, her comment section was flooded with messages about how the scan was ‘not affordable’ for ‘regular folks.’
‘How many hoops you gotta jump through before your insurance covers that?’ one asked.
Another reminded her: ‘Kim, it’s hard to buy groceries in this economy.’
‘Wow, thanks so much for sharing something 90 percent of the population can’t afford,’ a third social media user commented sarcastically.
