Rita Ora, 32, and Taika Waititi, 47, should be commended for their covert nuptials. Rita debuted her emerald engagement ring while appearing as a special guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Rita was eager to show off her brand-new square engagement ring, which was encircled by a halo of gold and diamonds and included a huge green emerald diamond in the middle. The second ring on top was only a thin gold diamond band, while the gold band below was extremely thin and likewise covered with diamonds.
As she confessed, «I actually have never shown anyone my ring — it’s my first time showing my ring, so because I love you and I feel like you’re a part of our relationship weirdly because we watch you every night, here it is,» Rita held up the ring to Jimmy and the camera. Before Rita disclosed that she «may have» assisted her new husband, Jimmy exclaimed, «Ooh la la that’s wonderful!»
«You know when you know what you want,» Rita admitted, «and I felt like I really knew I wanted to be with this person. I just wanted it to feel really right. So I might have taken him to the store and shown him the exact ring I was looking for.
On the show, Rita looked stunning in a bright, silver sequin outfit that included a long-sleeve turtleneck crop top and a matching high-waisted, extremely short mini skirt. She was wearing tight curls in the back of her long brown hair, which was pulled back in the front and parted in the middle. She gave her new ring a long, glossy brown manicure to emphasize it.
On the program, Rita sang her brand-new single, «You Only Love Me,» and she talked about how getting married has given her the inspiration to make music. Rita declared, «I feel like the journey it took me to get here and the last two years, my life has changed so drastically.
«Choosing someone to spend the rest of your life with is a major decision, and it inspired me to start writing once more. Love has recently truly inspired me. I feel like this is more than just music; it’s a moment in my life because that’s what I wrote all about and it’s good to record the moment.
Around April 2021, Rita and Taika first raised dating rumors, and it wasn’t until August of that same year that they made their first red carpet appearance together. Rita described the couple’s wedding as being quite low-key, saying, «It was absolutely wonderful and perfect.
It was exactly how I wanted it, sometimes just for myself. It was really sweet, she added later. I apologize, but it’s not that intriguing! I’ll host a sizable gathering someday. I’ll schedule a huge party when I have the time.
