Will Smith Refutes Any Connection to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: «I Haven’t Been Anywhere Near That Man»
«I’ve never spoken on this before, but let me make it clear: I have nothing to do with Puffy,» stated Will Smith

The actor made a rare public statement about Sean «Diddy» Combs while on stage, denying any ties to the music mogul’s rumored criminal activities.
The Oscar-winning star, who recently dropped his new track «Tantrum,» performed at the Observatory North Park in San Diego on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Footage posted on TikTok and later obtained by TMZ shows Smith addressing the audience between performances, responding to memes that have connected him to Combs.

Will Smith addressed rumors during a performance, saying, «I have nothing to do with Puffy. Stop with the memes and nonsense.» He clarified, «I haven’t been near that man or done any of that crazy stuff. If you hear it, it’s a lie.»
Smith, 56, has been photographed with Sean «Diddy» Combs at industry events, but Combs, 55, is currently in federal custody facing charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
Combs faces accusations of coercing women into «freak-offs» and prosecutors found items like drugs and baby oil during raids.

He denies the charges, with his lawyers calling them meritless. Combs remains in custody until his May 2025 trial.
Will Smith, denying any connection to Combs, joked onstage, «I don’t even like baby oil,» and added, «Your memes were doing too much.»
Jamie Foxx also addressed similar rumors in his Netflix special, explaining he left parties early because «something don’t look right.»
