Ashley Graham swept down the catwalk in a dark red dress with a deep neckline
On Saturday during Milan Fashion Week, Ashley Graham strutted down the runway for the Dolce & Gabbana presentation.
The 35-year-old model strode down the runway looking stunning in a plunging scarlet gown with sheer ruched glove-style sleeves.
She carried an envelope clutch bag in one hand to complete her all-red ensemble, giving herself a few more inches in a pair of rouge strapped stilettos.
She added a little of eyeliner and a coat of red lipstick to highlight her gorgeous features as she pulled her brunette hair back into a chic updo.
Several A-list celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, attended the eagerly anticipated Dolce & Gabbana show.
Following a recent situation in which she was compelled to justify her choice to stop breastfeeding her twins, who are now 13 months old, Ashley made a stunning presentation at Milan Fashion Week.
She revealed to guest presenter Chelsea Handler on The Daily Show that she decided to stop breastfeeding Malachi and Roman at five months.
When they were five months old, she quit nursing them and started giving them the best formula she could find in America.
The model, who serves as the face of the infant formula manufacturer Bobbie, also made a comment on how many people believe they have the right to dictate what other people should feed their children.
I don’t think we should be advising folks on how to feed their children because these little fellas are so healthy and content.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model, who has a three-year-old son named Isaac with her husband Justin Ervin, jokingly compared giving her sons breast milk to «feeding a nation.»
There’s this entire thing with people advising you what to give your child, she continued. I was of the opinion that I could only breastfeed my first child. This is the proper approach.
Ashley added that «this has been a journey» and even had hair loss.
This is not working in this situation, I thought after having the twins. You two are fighting over [my breasts]. This is labor-intensive.
Ashley previously told PEOPLE in an interview in September about her «stressful» breastfeeding experience, so this is not the first time she has been open about it.
She said that learning how to position and latch on to her twins during the first week of nursing had been «very challenging.»
After a week, she said, things settled into a routine, but after that, both her and the babies’ circumstances changed.
Suddenly, it seemed as though we didn’t want to continue, and I experienced a sense of defeat. What should I do, I wondered? How will I feed my little children?
She continued by saying that in order to get through difficult times, she had to have some «internal discussions» with herself.
The phrase «It’s acceptable if you have to use formula» came to mind as I reminisced. Not to worry. You’re not doing a bad job as a parent,
Ashley first met her husband Justin in 2009 at a church service. They started dating right away, and the following year, they got married.
Then, in 2019, Ashley revealed via an Instagram post that she was expecting her first child. On January 18, 2020, Isaac was born.
In July 2021, Ashley made the second pregnancy announcement, and in September, she made the twin boy announcement. Ashley welcomed her kids Malachi and Roman in January 2022.
