Dua Lipa shows off a sultry dance in a very rаcy mesh vest that doesn’t hide her brеasts in her new video
Dua Lipa looked as incredible as ever as she put on a sultry performance in her new music video.
The pop star, 28, returned to the music scene on Thursday with the release of her new track Houdini and put on a daring display for fans in the accompanying clip.
Dua was shown post-rehearsal in a dance hall, revising her choreography under fluorescent lights as she threw herself round the room.
She looked as trendy as ever in a mesh vest top and a pair of tracksuit bottoms as she let her newly-dyed red locks flow free.
Making use of mirrors, the Levitating singer executed eye-catching dances as her lyrics alluded to jilting a potential suitor’s chances in the style of an escapologist, comparing herself to legendary magician Harry Houdini.
She sang: ‘I come and I go, tell me all the ways you need me, I’m not here for long Catch me or I go Houdini, I come and I go, prove you’ve got the right to please me.’
For the choruses of the high-energy clip, Dua was joined by an army of backup dancers but for the verses, she flexed for the camera in a multitude of poses.
The pop star explained that the video ’embodies that 4am feeling when the night is coming to a close and you’re a bit sweaty, but you just don’t want the party to end’.
The hotly-anticipated music video was directed by Manu Cossu with cinematographer André Chemetoff.
The Dance the Night songstress — who is currently dating filmmaker Romain Gavras, 42, — worked on the track with with Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.
She explained that the lyrics of the track represent the lighthearted ‘freedom’ she felt during her time as a single woman.
She said: ‘This track represents the most light and freeing parts of my singledom’ is very tongue in cheek, exploring the idea of whether someone is really worth my while or if I’ll ghost them in the end.
Dua added that the ‘beauty’ of being open in her songwriting means she always ‘looks forward’ to sharing her ups and downs with her millions of fans.
She added: ‘You never know where something may take you, that’s the beauty of being open to whatever life throws your way.
