Ed Kelce believes Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be able to «connect more» after the Super Bowl
Travis Kelce’s father is eager to see how the NFL star’s relationship with Taylor Swift evolves.
Ahead of Travis’ Super Bowl game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9, Ed Kelce shared his thoughts on the couple during an interview with Australia’s *Today* show on Thursday, February 6.
“I think once the Super Bowl is behind them, it will be a great time for the two of them to connect more, without the NFL season or the Eras tour, just having time to themselves,” Ed said of Taylor and Travis.
“I think it can only be positive.”
Praising Taylor as a “joy to be around,” Ed mentioned how the pop star has become more involved in football.
“She’s learning a lot more about it, watching games with her dad whenever she can.”
When asked about the possibility of Taylor performing with Kendrick Lamar during the halftime show, Ed admitted he had no idea, saying, «I haven’t talked to Taylor this week. I have no clue what her plans are. Her publicist would be the one to ask.»
As for wedding rumors, Ed jokingly dismissed the idea, teasing, «Did you really think I was going to come up with that?»
Since their relationship began in 2023, Taylor has frequently attended Travis’ games, often sitting in a private box with Ed and his wife, Donna Kelce.
Jason Kelce recently confirmed that Taylor would also be present at the Super Bowl, adding, “Our whole family will be there—Trav, Taylor, and all their friends.”
