Jennifer Affleck is expecting her third child with husband Zac, *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* star reveals (Exclusive)
Jennifer Affleck and her husband Zac, who married in 2019, are expecting their third child!
The couple, already parents to Lucas, 19 months, and Nora, 3, were thrilled to learn that their family is growing.
The *Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* star shared that the news of the pregnancy came as a surprise, but they had a feeling another baby was on the way.
«We were so excited, especially after a crazy year!» she said.
Nora, who’s been hoping for a little sister, is especially eager about the arrival, though Jennifer and Zac have decided to wait until the birth to find out the baby’s gender.
«I feel like it’s a girl,» Jennifer confessed. «I’ve dreamed about this little girl for a while now.»
Jennifer’s pregnancy has had its challenges, from the demanding first trimester to adjusting to the increased attention following the success of the show’s first season.
«It’s been tough physically and mentally—nausea, fatigue, cravings—plus the added stress of work and motherhood,» she said.
The couple also faced significant backlash during the first season, which took a toll on both their marriage and Jennifer’s mental health.
«There were many dark days,» she admitted, «but it’s important for us to keep things private until we’re ready to share more.»
Looking ahead to the second season of *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, Jennifer reflects on the toll the experience has taken.
«Filming was draining, especially while dealing with pregnancy and the challenges from season 1. It’s been my hardest pregnancy yet, but it’s also been a journey of personal growth.»
In a bright spot, Jennifer shared that her sister is also pregnant, and they’re excited to go through this journey together.
Their parents, who love being grandparents, were overjoyed by the news.
Jennifer, raised in a large foster family, is now fulfilling her dream of raising a big family. «It’s daunting but exciting,» she shared.
As she prepares for her third child, she aims for a natural birth to prove her strength. «I want to show women they can do anything.»
Grateful for her family’s support, Jennifer faces this chapter with optimism. «I couldn’t do it without my family, my therapist, and God.»
