Sabrina Carpenter won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2025 Grammys, expressing surprise by saying, «I really was not expecting this.»

At the 67th Annual Grammys, airing live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Sabrina Carpenter won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for her album *Short n’ Sweet* on Sunday, February 2.

When her name was announced, friends like Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff cheered her on enthusiastically. Overcome with emotion, Carpenter said, «I’m still out of breath from the performance, so I really was not expecting this.»

She continued, «All those nominees on the screen are some of my favorite artists, and I can’t believe I’m even in the room with them. This is crazy — my first Grammy, so I’m gonna cry.»

After thanking the Recording Academy, Carpenter expressed her love for her collaborators, friends, and family, saying, «You have no idea how much I love you and how much this album means to me,» before adding, «Thank you, holy s—, bye.»

The category included all female artists: *Short n’ Sweet*, *Hit Me Hard and Soft* by Billie Eilish, *Eternal Sunshine* by Ariana Grande, *The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess* by Chappell Roan, and *The Tortured Poets Department* by Taylor Swift.

Carpenter’s *Short n’ Sweet* album dropped in August 2024.

This year, she earned six Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for «Espresso.»

After wrapping up the North American leg of her *Short n’ Sweet* tour in November, she’ll head to Europe in March for more performances.

Carpenter also recently released a Netflix holiday special, *A Nonsense Christmas*, featuring music and celebrity cameos from stars like Shania Twain and Chappell Roan.
