Spears’ husband thrеatens to release extremely embarrassing information if she doesn’t agree to renegotiate marriage contract
Sam Asghari is allegedly threatening to release ‘extraordinarily embarrassing’ information about Britney Spears if she does not agree to renegotiate their prenup.
It was reported Wednesday that Asghari, 29, and Britney, 41, have recently split after just 14 months of marriage — as it’s been claimed he confronted her over cheating allegations.
And now Page Six has reported that the actor is seeking a bigger payout than what they’d originally agreed upon in exchange for his silence.
‘[Asghari is] attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid,’ an insider alleged. ‘So that’s what Sam is focused on.’
But a source close to Spears tells DailyMail.com: ‘[These claims] are absurd and there is no way her attorney, a former federal prosecutor, would ever let anyone ever extort Britney Spears.’
Page Six previously reported that the ‘iron clad’ prenup was in Britney’s favor and that ‘any money she made before the wedding is protected.’
It’s unclear if Sam would be able to take a portion of any money his wife earns while they’re married.
Her lawyer Mathew Rosengart played a key role in working out the terms shortly after Asghari proposed to Spears in September 2021.
The superstar has a reported net worth of $60million but she also pays tens of thousands of dollars a month in child support to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45.
The exes — who split in 2006 after two years of marriage — share sons Jayden James, 16, and Sean Preston, 17. Kevin has full custody of the boys.
