Travis Kelce reveals the surprising way Taylor Swift offered her support following his Super Bowl defeat.

After his tough Super Bowl 2025 defeat, Travis Kelce may have been feeling down, but thankfully, he has the perfect partner to help him through the challenging time.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end returned to the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.

There, he revealed how his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has been lifting his spirits through her music.

Jason, 37, asked Travis if he listens to “sad music” when feeling low, and Travis responded, “Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first.

I listen to music that really matches my mood.”

While Jason mentioned he listens to “sad country songs,” Travis had a different remedy.

“I just listen to Taylor’s music,” Travis said, referring to the 35-year-old singer-songwriter.

“She has something for every mood.” Jason agreed, adding, “That’s fair. No matter how you’re feeling, there’s always a Taylor song for that.”

Travis also humorously mentioned, “And how the Eagles broke my heart,” alluding to the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

But Taylor’s support went beyond just music. The “So High School” singer attended the game earlier in the month, cheering Travis on from the stands at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The couple, who made their relationship public in October 2023, have consistently shown up for one another.

Travis attended several stops on Taylor’s Eras Tour, even joining her on stage in London in June 2024.

Meanwhile, Taylor has been a regular presence at Chiefs games, supporting Travis throughout his past two seasons.

Travis reflected on the Chiefs’ tough Super Bowl loss to the Eagles on Feb. 9, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from his family and loved ones.

“I have a beautiful life,” Travis shared on New Heights. “I have amazing people around me who support everything I do, and they were all there cheering me on, hoping for the best on Sunday.”

As for his future in the NFL, Travis has kept it uncertain, admitting he’s still deciding whether he’ll return to the Chiefs next season.

«I know everyone wants to know if I’m playing next year, but right now, I’m just taking everything one step at a time,» he said on the Feb. 12 podcast.

Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach also addressed the speculation around Travis’ retirement during an appearance on NFL: The Insiders podcast this week, saying, “I think so.

We expect Travis to be back, and we’re excited to have him with us for another season.”
