Miley sang the song’s lyrics, «Now I’ve had time to think it over / We’re much older and the bone’s too big to bury,» while she rolled about in a huge white bed.
She was married to 33-year-old Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020, and many of her fans have assumed that the song is about him.
The former co-stars of The Last Song became together while the 2009 movie was being made, and they dated intermittently until being divorced.
The blonde beauty afterwards changed out of her jeans and into a sultry metallic gold swimsuit and sunglasses in front of traditional California palm palms in the music video.
She kept singing in the high-cut bathing suit, «And it’s a f****** shame that it ended like that / You broke your own heart, but you’d never say that.»
Interestingly, Miley captioned the identically styled selfie she posted on May 12 with the same song’s lyric, perhaps making fun of her ex.
The Hannah Montana star also wore a glittery black coned bra top and a gorgeous cut-out black bikini in other outfits.
With a pair of fashionable Chanel sunglasses, gold high-heeled shoes, and a couple gold earrings, Miley accessorized her outfits.
Many of Miley’s followers immediately filled her Instagram announcement with their comments when she posted the video.
One admirer exclaimed, «SONG OF THE SUMMER,» while another remarked, «she served so hard.» Delilah Belle Hamlin, Lisa Rinna’s daughter, couldn’t help but remark, «Hot.»
Since she initially shared a picture of herself online on May 5 wearing the gold bikini, the «Flowers» singer has been teasing the premiere of the new music video.
