At the 2023 Met Gala, Dua Lipa is shining just the way she wants! In an elongating basque-waist gown once worn by Karl Lagerfeld’s muse Claudia Schiffer,
the internationally famous pop star looked stunning as she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The dress comes from the late designer’s Fall 1992 Chanel Couture show and was created in the brand’s signature tweed fabric.
It was designed for bridal use. Dua had her trademark cat eye on and had her black hair long and loosely curled around her face.
The «Physical» singer’s gigantic, 200 carat Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace, which draped across her exposed neckline and featured a large pendant, was another standout part of her costume.
She also added two Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® rings and a platinum Tiffany & Co. ring with almost 9 carats of total diamond weight.
As the event’s theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty, honors the fashion icon, her appearance paid homage to his creations.
The «Levitating» singer was chosen as this year’s Met Gala co-chair, joining Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, Roger Federer, and of course, Anna Wintour of Vogue.
