I sobbed with joy, it’s amazing: Lohan flaunts her growing belly in a gorgeous new photo shoot
Lindsay Lohan has revealed her excitement at becoming a mother, exposing her baby bump in a stunning new shoot.
The Mean Girls actress, 36, stars on the cover of Allure Magazine, with one photo showing the star resting one hand on her bare bump as she models a cropped black top and low-slung trousers.
Admitting she has been ‘overwhelmed’ with emotion recently, Lindsay gushed: ‘I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom. Happy tears. That’s just who I am.
‘Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming in a good way.’
The mum-to-be also revealed she’s been seeking parenting advice from her Freaky Friday co-star and onscreen mother Jamie Lee Cutis, 64.
‘I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently. And she was like, ‘»You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine.»‘
However, she admitted that telling her husband, financier Bader Shammas, she was pregnant was a little underwhelming, recalling:
‘It was so unexciting. I walked into the room, I threw the test down. I was like, «Guess what?» He goes, «We are?»‘
Lindsay, who has lived in Dubai for the past eight years, announced in March she was expecting her first child.
Speaking about her day to day life since moving from Los Angeles, she confesses: ‘Sometimes, I call it The Truman Show, because it’s the same thing every day.
‘But I love it. I really love structure, because I didn’t think I had that when I was young. Everything was coming so fast and I had so many things happening. My only structure was filming and being on set.’
She and Shammas got engaged in November 2021 and it was confirmed last year in July that the couple had wedded.
‘I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,’ she gushed at the time in the caption as she posed for a cute snap with Shammas.
Lindsay added: ‘I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this every day.’
