Sabrina Carpenter wowed at the 2025 Grammys in a backless dress adorned with 80 carats of stunning diamonds
Sabrina Carpenter, nominated for six Grammy awards in 2025, captivated everyone with her stunning look in a custom JW Anderson dress and Chopard jewelry.
At just 25, the pop star’s rise has been meteoric, with achievements including opening for Taylor Swift, her debut at Coachella, and the release of her sixth album *Short n’ Sweet*.
She also made waves with a custom coffee collaboration with Dunkin’.
For her Grammy night, Carpenter, styled by Jared Ellner, stunned in a baby blue halter gown featuring a dramatic peplum and plumed hem, earning admiration from fashion critics.
The back of the dress featured a plunging design, adorned with 19 carats of Chopard diamonds, including a show-stopping 50-carat D-flawless gemstone from the Garden of Kalahari Collection.
She paired the gown with pear-shaped diamond earrings and a 10.10-carat oval diamond ring.
Her ensemble also gave fans a glimpse of her butterfly tattoo and a written piece of ink on her shoulder.
Makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez created her signature fluttery eye look with Velour faux lashes, while hairstylist Evanie Frausto crafted a vintage French twist using Redken products, with Carpenter being announced as a global ambassador for the brand in 2024.
Carpenter received nominations for Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso,” and performed alongside stars like Billie Eilish and Shakira.
She won her first Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance during the preshow.
Reflecting on her decade in music, Carpenter emphasized the small steps that led to her success. Known for her vintage-inspired style, she’s become a fashion icon, often wearing looks much older than her years.
At the 2024 MTV Music Awards, Carpenter wore a Bob Mackie gown, previously worn by Madonna, and changed into a 1990 Michael Kors dress for the afterparty.
She also wore an archival Victoria’s Secret red corset gown on TIME’s cover and bespoke Victoria’s Secret bodysuits on her *Short n’ Sweet* tour.
At the 2024 Met Gala, she wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. After the Grammys, she will begin her European tour on March 3 in Dublin with Rachel Chinouriri.
