Salma Hayek exudes glamor in a plunging burgundy sequin dress at a charity dinner
Salma Hayek was sure to turn heads as she put on a very glamorous display at the Kering Foundation’s second annual Caring For Women Dinner in New York on Tuesday, held to raise money for domestic abuse survivors.
The actress, 57, dazzled in a plunging sequinned burgundy gown as she graced the black carpet at the charity gala held to raise money for domestic abuse survivors.
Salma was sure to look her best for the star-studded event, as she posed this way and that in the figure-hugging dress which featured a split at the leg.
The Frida star accessorised her glam look with black heels and a coordinating clutch bag, finishing things off with silver drop earrings.
Salma was in good company as she posed alongside longtime husband and Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, 61, who looked dapper in a black suit.
Pinault is chairman of the Kering Foundation and his wife Hayek is on the board of directors.
The second annual Caring For Women dinner is presented by the Kering Foundation — the leading foundation combatting the epidemic that is violence against women and girls.
It is a celebration of the charitable organization’s 15th anniversary and the theme of the evening was ‘strength in numbers,’ as per WWD.
Hayek and Pinault co-chaired the event with the likes of supermodel Christy Turlington, Olivia Wilde and Zoe Kravitz among others.
This year’s star-studded dinner benefitted organizations that ‘address gender-based violence.’
‘Despite alarming setbacks in women’s rights around the world, there has been heartening progress to address violence against women in the last 15 years,
and we must continue to harness the power of collaboration and solidarity to ensure that all women can lead fulfilling lives free from violence,’ Pinault said in a statement head of Tuesday’s soiree.
Salma’s outing comes days after she proved age is just a number while showcasing her age-defying figure in a black and white patterned bikini.
In her latest Instagram post, the 57-year-old Oscar nominee looked nothing short of sensational in a flowy light blue cover-up as she cruised around on the ocean on a yacht.
