The conservatorship ordeal may be the subject of a docuseries, so Britney Spears’ biography is just the beginning of her candid journey
According to an insider who spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun, if super-producer Ryan Murphy gets his way, the controversy surrounding Britney Spears’ conservatorship might become a hugely popular docuseries.
She hasn’t participated in any of the numerous TV programs regarding the superstar’s difficulties and what ultimately led to the 13-year conservatorship’s termination.
However, producer Murphy, who oversaw a Britney-themed Glee episode featuring the singer herself back in 2010, wants the pop queen to join the project and share her life story.
According to a business insider, Ryan is openly fascinated by the Britney narrative and is one of the few Hollywood directors—possibly the only one, really—who have a working relationship with Britney.
He is familiar with her, her surroundings, and the reasons why the tale of her conservatorship struck a chord with so many people.
«He’s the one to do this, but timing is the key.
«With the publication of her book, Britney promises bombshells, and people will want to see those stories dramatized.
Ryan, however, detests accusations that he exploits victims and catastrophes in his shows, making this a very delicate situation that he would never even consider pursuing without Britney’s complete support.
It would be similar to how he persuaded Monica Lewinsky to join the cast of «American Crime Story»‘s Clinton-themed season.
