A new playground for a Miami women’s shelter has been funded in part by a millioո dollars given by Gisele Bundchen

On Tuesday, Gisele Bündchen made a kind donation to the Lotus House in Miami, which provides housing for more than 1,550 homeless women and children each year.

According to a press release acquired by the Miami Herald, the supermodel,

42, gave $1 million to the largest women’s shelter in the nation to help construct a’state-of-the-art facility based around the needs of the community’s youngsters.

Her seven-figure gift will also help the group’s efforts to prevent homelessness in South Florida, according to their mission statement.

The mother of two, who divorced her ex-husband Tom Brady in October, said:

«Building a solid community for children is so important, especially for those who are vulnerable and in need.» It takes a seed of an idea for something to grow, just like everything else in life.

«Play promotes physical fitness, social interactions, cognitive development, self-confidence, and general well-being,» she concluded.

«All these elements build a strong foundation for growth,» the mother of two continued.

The Vogue cover girl and Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava posed for pictures while holding shovels and donning pink helmets.

The Brazilian beauty was seen donning a white t-shirt and light-wash denim as she spoke on stage in the pictures.

The Lotus House offers «free transitional housing and wrap-around support services with access to a wide range of resources to approximately 520 women, youth, and children daily,» according to the organization’s website.

According to its website, Lotus House «serves women who are homeless for any reason, including domestic violence, untreated physical or mental illness, disability, or economic reasons.»

Even a «special maternity wing for women who are homeless, pregnant, and their infants» is available through the group.

They offer instructional workshops in a variety of subjects, such as painting, dance, yoga, and creative writing.

Constance Collins inaugurated the Lotus House in 2006 with 34 shelter beds before enlarging it in 2018 with the Lotus Village.

The runway diva established the Luz Foundation in 2017, which awards grants and supports young females.

She told the Sydney Morning Herald in 2015 that «my life is devoted to this.»

«I can see from the outside that people assume this girl does nothing but pose for photos.

But I’m constantly thinking in my thoughts, «Okay, if I take this job, then I can have more money to put into this,» throughout the entire process.
