After a purported reconciliation, William Shatner and his ex-wife Elizabeth Martin were seen driving together
Love triumphs above all obstacles! Three years after their divorce, William Shatner enjoyed a date with Elizabeth Martin and appeared to be in good health and spirits.
The 91-year-old Star Trek icon was photographed on February 18 leaving Los Angeles on an afternoon road trip with Elizabeth, 64, and their two Dobermans.
With his former partner and his puppies beside him, William led the way in the driver’s seat while wearing a striped shirt and flashing a megawatt smile.
The couple fueled reconciliation speculations in January when they showed together arm in arm at the Beverly Hills Living Legends of Aviation Awards.
The couple reportedly attended the performance, which was hosted by John Travolta, for the first time since they announced their separation in 2020, after 19 years of marriage.
Shatner appeared to confirm the couple’s reconciliation when he told The Mirror during the event, «My wife… she is the zest of life, she adds the flavor.»
There had been talk of a reunion between Shatner and Martin before their presence at the event.
The actor made a clue about it in a May 2021 interview with The Guardian. Martin apparently celebrated his 90th birthday with him as well. In any case, it’s incredible.

The divorce occurred over two decades after Shatner wed Martin, whom he started dating after Nerine Kidd, his third wife, tragically drowned in 1999, ending their marriage.

He married Marcy Lafferty, an actress who had starred with William Shatner in his 1980s television series TJ Hooker and the 1979 film Star Trek: The Motion Picture, in 1973, only to divorce her in 1996.
In his book, Shatner stated that his wife wasn’t to blame for the breakdown of their marriage.
