Alessandra Ambrosio honors the sixteenth birthday of her doppelgänger, Anya
Alessandra Ambrosio is celebrating the life of her “most beautiful flower.”
On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Brazilian model, 43, shared a video montage of footage of her and her daughter Anja as she marked her 16th birthday.
Playing the video alongside Mundo Bita’s song “Como É Grande o Meu Amor por Você,” the proud mom began the clip with a photo of Anja as a baby, followed by more recent pictures of her modeling and her with her brother Noah, 12.
Ambrosio, who shares her son and daughter with ex-husband Jamie Mazur, was also featured in the sweet tribute as she posed alongside her daughter and sported a butterfly filter in a light-hearted clip.
The video went on to include a photo of Ambrosio, Anja and Noah wearing soccer jerseys before showing the trio dining at a restaurant.
More throwback snaps of Anja showed her posing at the beach and sitting with more loved ones, as well as a pack of puppies.
In more childhood photos of the birthday girl, Anja flashed a beaming smile as she posed with her brother, mother and their pet dogs.
The tribute then captured Anja blowing out candles on her 16th birthday cake, before concluding with a photo of her standing in front of “1” and “6” silver balloons.
“And how great is my love for you… My doll, princess, the most beautiful flower in the world My ANGEL,” Ambrosio’s caption read in Portuguese.
The mother of two also shared a carousel post of black and white photos of the pair.
“Happy Sweet 16, my darling Anja! Today marks a major milestone in your journey to becoming an extraordinary woman,” her caption read.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible person you’re growing up to be — strong, kind, intelligent, creative, and beautiful inside and out. Your sensitivity, work ethic, and determination to chase your dreams inspire me every day.”
Ambrosio went on to write, “As your mom, I feel grateful to witness your growth and evolution. I promise to always be here for you,
to love you unconditionally, guide you with compassion, and hold your hand through life’s ups and downs.”
