Alessandra Ambrosio showcased her jaw-dropping figure in a tiny patterned bikini as she enjoyed a beach day in Brazil on Monday.

The model, 42, looked incredible in the colourful two-piece which boasted a triangle top and matching tie side bottoms.

She displayed her toned abs in the swimwear which donned a wrap tie detailing around her waist.

The Victoria Secret Angel accessorised with a stylish shell necklace and a pair of small hoop earrings.

Pushing her long wet dark tresses out of her face, Alessandra shielded from the sun behind a pair of sunglasses.

The runway star seemed in high spirits as she soaked up the sun on the beach wearing a black and yellow wrap miniskirt.

She was joined by her children Anja, 15, and Noah, 11, and was spotted playing with them on the beach with a bucket and spade.

Cooling off from the hot weather, Alessandra looked sensational as she went for a swim in the ocean.

Alessandra has been keeping her Instagram followers up-to-date during her holiday with family and friends in her native Brazil.

And she also named the exact city: Praia Brava, Norte Da Ilha, Floripa. That is how she got the name for her swim line.

The beach getaway comes after Alessandra opened up about her art collection ahead of her appearance at the annual art fair Art Basel.

‘My collection mainly consists of black-and-white photos. Some are by photographers such as Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Patrick Demarchelier and Ellen von Unwerth,’ she explained to Ocean Drive magazine.

‘I also treasure my guitar, which was painted by the Gemeos brothers. They are the most amazing Brazilian street artists that I genuinely adore. Each piece holds a special place in my heart!’
