Blake Lively joked about Ryan’s press tour, causing backlash from fans
Blake Lively is making fun of Ryan Reynolds, her spouse, for his work ethic!
On Friday, July 5, at the 2024 Waterbomb Festival in Seoul, South Korea, the 36-year-old star of It Ends with Us had some fun making jokes on social media about his recent shenanigans with Hugh Jackman,
his co-star in Deadpool and Wolverine. The two had been spotted playing with water cannons onstage.
Lively shared a video of Reynolds, 47, using a yellow water cannon to spray the crowd while they splashed him back on her Instagram Stories.
«When he tells you he’s going to work, and then you see him on MTV Spring Break,» she said in a humorous caption over the video.
Alongside the video, she joked that Reynolds and Jackman’s upcoming movie ought to be called «Boys Gone Wild: A Deadpool and Wolverine Story.» She also uploaded a GIF that said, «You are in serious trouble.»
The pair’s most recent stop on their press tour in Asia to promote their new film was the 2024 Waterbomb Festival. On July 3, they had already been to Shanghai, and Reynolds had posted several pictures from the trip to Instagram.
The photos showed the stars touring the area and attending a screening with Shawn Levy, the film’s director. Reynolds thanked the Shanghai fans for hosting them in his caption.
«As we make our way to Korea, we want to thank the people of Shanghai for the incredible hospitality and warmth,» the post read.
«I’ve had the good fortune to travel to China five times; today marks my third visit, enjoying the stunning sights and sounds of Shanghai. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.»
Since their first collaboration on 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which also featured Reynolds’ first major motion picture role as Deadpool, Jackman, 55, and Reynolds have remained close pals.
