Britney Spears kicked off the new week with a post on her Instagram account in which she discussed her wide variety of footwear preferences, while showing off her fit figure.
In the post Monday on Spears’ account — which has been set to private since last week — the Grammy-winning singer, 42,
was clad in a skimpy ensemble in the foyer of her Southern California home, where she often films reels for the social media platform.
The Oops!… I Did It Again artist, who has deactivated and reactivated her account in recent months, showed off a summer figure in the dead of winter as she donned a skimpy ensemble of a green crop top with black lace panties.
Spears wore her hair up with a black choker and khaki Ugg boots with knee-high white socks with a horizontal red stripe atop.
The Toxic artist in the caption of the post told her 42.5 million followers that she received a new set of Uggs last month for Christmas, while touching on other different styles she’s been drawn to in assembling her shoe collection.
The …Baby One More Time vocalist reflected on experimenting with different fashions on past international trips.
‘When I was in Japan they literally had the highest heels everywhere and it was honestly freaking cool!!!’ she said. ‘I’m trying to learn how to walk in these but then I want to take them off and run!!!’
She said that the weather often influences her footwear decisions.
‘My new sandals I got last year for my trips were extra high and it took me a minute to figure out how to look cool and walk in them but now it’s been so cold I wear my boots everywhere!!!’ she wrote.
