Demi Lovato put on a dazzling display in Prabal Gurung at the 2024 Met Gala.

The singer — who uses they/them and she/her pronouns — worked a silver gown decked out with stunning metallic florals.

Demi’s dress featured a low-cut neckline, cinched waist, and magnificent train that skimmed the iconic staircase.

It marked Demi’s first time back at the ball since her ‘terrible experience’ attending the soirée in 2016.

For her first time back at the ball in eight years, Demi, 31, opted for a glossy hairstyle with a chic side part, a smoky eye, and a dusting of rosy blush.

Their face was further touched up with a swipe of lip gloss.

Demi’s look popped even more, thanks in part to a diamond-encrusted necklace and flawless silver manicure.

The Confident singer was joined by the designer of her dress himself, Prabal Gurung.

Demi last attended the Met Gala back in 2016 and allegedly had an awkward run-in with Nicki Minaj at the soirée.

In a 2018 interview with Billboard, she revealed she had such a bad experience that she was driven to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting straight after the glitzy New York fashion event.

‘I had a terrible experience,’ Demi told Billboard.

The Sorry Not Sorry singer, who has been candid about her sobriety over the years, continued:

‘This one celebrity was a complete and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink.’

Demi explained that she stayed away from the bar but texted her manager and went straight to a 10pm AA meeting after leaving the event.
