Exclusive. Ashley St. Clair is taking aim at Elon Musk, saying, «He can’t even be relied upon to communicate, let alone fulfill the role of a father»

Ashley St. Clair is taking aim at Elon Musk after he defended his role as a father on X.

The 26-year-old author is currently suing the 53-year-old Tesla CEO for sole custody of an infant boy they reportedly share.

In her legal documents, St. Clair claims that Musk has only seen the child, identified as R.S.C., three times since his birth in September 2024.

«This case has never been about money for Ashley,» a spokesperson for St. Clair told.

«It’s about protecting the best interests of their child from a man who can’t even be relied upon to communicate, let alone fulfill the duties of a father.»

«Mr. Musk spends more time on his social media platform discussing the mothers of his children than he does actually engaging with them,» the statement continues.

«We attempted to address this matter cooperatively, but it takes both parents, and he refused all attempts at conversation.»

St. Clair’s remarks follow a post by YouTuber Jerry Rig Everything (real name Zach Nelson), who criticized Musk on X, accusing him of «abandoning a 5-month-old» and refusing to pay child support, among other claims.

The post included a screenshot of Musk walking down some steps with his 4-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii, trailing behind.

Musk responded, calling Nelson «an utter liar.»

«I have always provided extremely generous child support, without any need for coercion,» Musk, who owns X, wrote in reply.

«At times, the mother asked for far more money than the children could possibly require, and that had to be addressed legally.»

In her legal petition, St. Clair claimed that Musk first met R.S.C. in New York City on September 21, 2024, and spent two hours with the baby.

He saw the child again the following day for one hour, and then for the «last time» in Austin, Texas, on November 30, 2024, for just 30 minutes.

St. Clair said she and Musk began a «romantic relationship» in May 2023 and conceived R.S.C. in January 2024.

She claimed Musk acknowledged parentage through various written communications, and included screenshots of their text conversations in her filing.

In November 2024, Musk allegedly told her, «I want to knock you up again,» followed by a text months later that read, “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”

“Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to ensure the best interests of her child are protected,» her representative told on February 21.

«She has made every effort to work with Mr. Musk before taking this step and has no further comment as the petitions speak for themselves.»
