On Friday, Britney Spears posted two photos to Instagram showing her wearing a silk nightgown and her go-to lace wedding veil.
The singer, 41, also alluded to one of her favorite movies in the description of the image, which read: «Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious… you know Mary Poppins!!!»
Britney smoldered for the camera in the first picture as her bare slip left little to the imagination.
In a different photo, the Oops!…I Did It Again singer chose to cover her long, golden blonde hair with a veil while posing with her hands on her stomach.
The article was published shortly after the celebrity’s husband Sam Asghari criticized her nearly 13-year conservatorship, which was ended in 2021, in a brand-new interview.
Asghari first told TMZ at LAX on Thursday that he intended to star in a romantic comedy or an action film with his wife, whom he complimented as a «great actress.»
The 29-year-old actor and former fitness expert continued by calling Britney’s famed conservatorship «the worst that’s ever happened in this country.» He recently appeared in a car park naked.
Sam was «visiting Los Angeles real quick» to see Britney before returning to the city to shoot his enigmatic directorial debut.
Sam was asked if he would ever consider collaborating with Spears in a «romcom,» but he refused to provide any other information on the project.
He remarked, «I hope so, I hope so, I think she’s a great actress.» «I’m hoping that dream will come true one day.»
Asghari said «Yes» when TMZ questioned the former personal trainer if he was «waiting for the right script.» I might draft the script.
When Spears’ acting career peaked in 2002 with the release of the teen drama Crossroads, the budding director started to wonder what kind of star vehicle would fit Spears the most.
Sam speculated, straying from the romcom genre, «Maybe it’s an action movie.»
The actor continued by bragging about how good a physical performer his wife was.
She’s really athletic, so perhaps, you know, she might jump up, kick a couple people, and perform a number of other stunts. He responded, «She’d be really good at that.»
Sam said that Britney, who recently performed for Instagram while wearing a gold-fringed corset minidress, is «doing great.»
But when TMZ questioned Sam about whether a conservatorship had «any merits,» the LAX conversation took a serious turn.
Absolutely not, Asghari replied. The conservatorship, in my opinion, was a terrible mistake.
The performer then criticized his wife for being subjected to such restraints.
It ought to have never occurred. The worst thing that has ever occurred in this nation, he continued, is that somebody should not be placed under conservatorship.
