Heidi Klum sparked backlash for faking pregnancy on April Fool’s Day, pictured wearing a prosthetic tummy. no one is funny
Some of Heidi Klum’s 10.7 million Instagram followers are criticizing her for deftly staging a pregnancy on April Fool’s Day.
The 49-year-old Making the Cut host received instant criticism for her prank after she posed for several photos with her fellow America’s Got Talent judges while sporting a prosthetic baby bump.
Her joke was dubbed as «tasteless» and «insensitive.»
On Saturday, the mother-of-four reshared a photo that Sofia Vergara had originally posted, in which she was seen kissing a fictitious belly and writing the message, «I’m going to be an aunt!»
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel was pictured cradling her tummy in a dressing room while donning a long skirt, a cropped black sweater, and a pair of tan UGG slippers.
Congratulations. @heidiklum Coworkers @sofiavergara and I are the first to know, Howie Mandel captioned the photo in an effort to dupe his followers.
A few hours later, Klum posted a picture of Mandel, 67, with a prosthetic baby bump on his tummy, proving that she was not actually expecting.
She jokingly said, «From me to you, congratulations.»
All of their followers disapproved of the prank, with many saying that since «so many women experience infertility,» «being pregnant isn’t a funny April Fools’ joke.»
Another person commented, «I find this extremely repulsive and hurtful to those women still going through their infertility journey.»
Numerous other people opined that the actors should feel «ashamed» of themselves for the ruse.
Some people believed that Klum would need to «apologize to everyone that’s offended tomorrow.»
However, many people who saw pictures of Klum wearing a midriff-baring gown to the iHeartRadio Music Awards last week thought her fake pregnancy declaration was obvious.
However, given that she recently discussed possibly wanting to have a child with her husband, Tom Kaulitz, the possibility of her becoming pregnant is not so improbable.
I’m sometimes here [for it], sometimes here [where I’m not], you know? It varies on what day it is. On the Jennifer Hudson Show in February, the German stunner said.
After welcoming her first girl in 2004, Heidi went on to have three more children with her ex-husband Seal.
That is a lot, I mean. I have completed it four times. With each of my four children, I breastfed for eight months before finding out I was expecting again.
Three times in a succession, she added. Again, [my offspring] are] 18; 17, 16; and 13; respectively. I’ve been waiting for a while, so maybe [yes].
Heidi’s third spouse is Tom, a musician in the group Tokio Hotel.
The musician previously wed the model Ria Sommerfeld from 2015 to 2018, but the couple didn’t have any children.
