Jason Kelce shares that Travis now has influential people in his life helping him grow for the better, calling the transformation «remarkable.»
On the latest episode of the Fitz & Whit podcast, Jason Kelce opened up about his younger brother’s personal growth over the past few years.
“It’s honestly been remarkable,” Jason, 37, shared with co-hosts Ryan Fitzpatrick, a former NFL quarterback, and Andrew Whitworth, a former Rams offensive lineman, on the Feb. 18 episode.

He described how Travis has transitioned from having a basketball hoop in his living room to embracing a full adult life.
“One of the things I love about Travis is that he never fully grew up,” Jason said. “He was like Peter Pan, always the lost boy.”
Jason believes his brother’s transformation is partly due to the positive influence of those around him.

“Sometimes you get people in your life that help bring that out of you,” he explained. “And that’s a good thing.”
This conversation came just under two weeks after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, sparking rumors about Travis’ potential retirement and his growing relationship with Taylor Swift.
Despite the changes, Jason emphasized that Travis’ playful nature remains intact.

“Trav is growing up, but he’s still got that youthful enthusiasm,” Jason noted. “I think that will always be part of him. It’s what makes him so loved by his teammates.”
Since Travis and Swift confirmed their relationship in October 2023, his «youthful enthusiasm» has been widely reported.
He’s attended several of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts and even hosted Saturday Night Live in the spring of 2024.

Swift has shown her support by attending his games and referencing him in her music.
During a January 2025 appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show, Travis expressed how they continue to support each other.
“I’m enjoying every part of life. Me and Taylor are happy,” he said.

“Having that confidence and support both on and off the field has been incredible.”
He added, “A strong relationship gives you the support to focus on your craft and be the best version of yourself.”
