Justin Timberlake Joins ‘Bike Bus’ Event for Children, Expresses Gratitude for the Joy It Brings
Justin Timberlake shared his excitement about joining the «Bike Bus» event during his Portland concert the following day, reflecting on the experience with enthusiasm.
The «Mirrors» singer teamed up with Sam Balto, co-founder of Bike Bus, for a rainy-day ride through Portland, Oregon.
«BIKE BUS! Big thanks to @coachbalto for allowing me and @thetnkids to join your morning ride,» Timberlake posted on Instagram on January 13. «You’re spreading joy to so many people out here 🫶🏻 @bikebusworld.»
At 43, Timberlake was accompanied by his tour family as they joined dozens of children and adults on the eco-friendly ride.
In the video, Balto mentioned that the Bike Bus rides happen «rain or shine,» and expressed his gratitude toward Timberlake for supporting the initiative.

A TikTok posted by Sam Balto offered another glimpse of the Portland Bike Bus, set to «Can’t Stop The Feeling» as participants rode through the streets, with community members showing their support along the way.
In his caption, Balto expressed gratitude for the «incredible day filled with so much joy and excitement.»
Although Timberlake was initially invited to join the event in October, he was able to participate on January 12, according to Portland’s CBS affiliate, KOIN.
During his January 13 Portland concert, Timberlake praised the Bike Bus initiative, calling it a «privilege» to join and highlighting its impact on inspiring the community and young minds.
He encouraged the audience, saying, «Let’s do it again.»
Founded by Sam Balto in 2022, Bike Bus aims to help communities launch their own programs, advocate for better transportation infrastructure, and reduce car trips to school.
The movement, with 50 to 150 students and many parents participating, promotes safety, community, and environmental benefits through biking.
