Kate Hudson gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her musical journey on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old star, who is known for acting and her entrepreneurial pursuits, wrote in a caption that her music has been ‘two and a half years in the making.’

Hudson, whose mother is Hollywood icon Goldie Hawn, uploaded several video clips showing her working hard at her craft.

Her famous friends quickly joined in the comments to cheer her on — Hilary Swank wrote, ‘My dream is coming true! You’re singing and making an album!!!’

It comes after she first announced an interest in sharing her original music at the beginning of the year.

Kate’s caption went on to say that the covid-19 ‘lock down reminded me to have no creative regrets in life, take chances, don’t let anyone determine why or when you chose to put art in the world, be fearless in moves you make.’

The mother-of-three added, ‘and music is my first creative love story that I would regret not sharing.’

Singer Janelle Monae, who worked with Kate on the 2022 film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, left a note that said, ‘My girl!!!! We are ready !!!!!!’

And songstress Fergie was also supportive, adding, ‘Yay!!!!!!!’

Rita Ora was more brazen in her encouragement as she said, ‘Yes Kate f**king go!!!’

Meanwhile, Tom Hanks’ singer-songwriter wife Rita Wilson wrote, ‘You know how excited I am….’

Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte, joined in, writing, ‘Let’s go I can’t wait to hear it.’

In one clip, Kate showed off her soulful vocals as she sang into a microphone while wearing white and gray lounge pants with gray Chuck Taylor platform sneakers.
