Kesha performed for the first time since her diаgnоsis. fans greeted the singer warmly
The celebration doesn’t officially begin until Kesha enters the scene. The 37-year-old pop artist began the Fourth of July with a brand-new song.
The first track Kesha has released since her case against record producer Dr. Luke was settled is her current hit, «Joyride.» Kesha goes back to her early pop influences in the new song.

Before switching it up in the chorus, Kesha sings the first line, «Rev my engine ’til you make it purr / Keep it kinky, but I come first … I’m outside, bitch, beep-beep. Enter now for the thrill trip, loser.
The remark «get in, loser» seems to be a reference to Regina George’s well-known Mean Girls quip, «Get in, loser, we’re going shopping.»
The upbeat dance song was released ten years after Kesha claimed in 2014 that Dr. Luke had drugged and molested her.
At the time, she further stated that this was the reason she developed an eating issue. Dr. Luke countersued Kesha after refuting her claims.
A judge rejected all of the abuse claims made by the «Cannibal» singer in 2016, stating that the claims had passed the statute of limitations.
Before reaching a settlement last year, Kesha and Dr. Luke engaged in a turbulent legal battle that lasted for years. The former musical partners declared the end of their violent disagreement in statements they made in June 2023.
Kesha said in her statement that «only God knows what happened that night,» referring to the purported night of her attack.
As I’ve said before, I’m not able to describe everything that transpired. It will be a pleasure to close this chapter of my life and start a new one. I hope that everyone involved can live in peace.
