Kim Kardashian Fires Back at Critics of Daughter North’s Performance at the Hollywood Bowl
Kim Kardashian has a strong response for those criticizing her daughter North’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the SKIMS founder, 44, celebrated a special milestone as her 11-year-old daughter, North, was invited to sing «I Just Can’t Wait to Be King» from The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl.

While North handled the performance like a seasoned pro, Kim found herself more nervous than her daughter during the rehearsals.
Kim expressed her initial hesitations about the performance, worried about the negative feedback North might receive.
But she quickly had a blunt message for those who would criticize her daughter.
“This is a huge responsibility for a little kid,” Kim said. “I know what’s coming: ‘She’s not Whitney Houston—duh!

She only got the job because of her parents.’ North is the moment. People want to see North West everywhere—on TikTok, on this, on that—because she’s a personality, a performer.
And if anyone wants to hate on a kid having the time of her life… F— you.”
After the performance, Kim wiped away tears, calling it «such a proud moment.» She admitted to crying through the entire thing, reiterating that anyone with negative comments was simply a “hater.”

“Anyone hating on a kid is just a hater,” she said. «And she’s not there to be Mariah Carey.”
Kim shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West. In addition to North, they have three other kids: Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
While Kim is excited about North’s career taking off, balancing both their hectic schedules is proving challenging.

In a scene from the *The Kardashians* season 6 premiere, Kim spoke to her mom Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian about managing North’s growing career alongside her own.
“I thought I was busy before. Being North’s momager right now is insane.
It wasn’t on my list. It wasn’t on my Bingo card for this year,” Kim shared.

“It’s a lot of work,” Kris responded. “A lot of energy.”
“I’m not ready,” Kim admitted, as Khloé chimed in, “You’re like, I’ve got my own stuff to manage.”
New episodes of *The Kardashians* are available Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
