Lainey Wilson is officially engaged! The country star shared the exciting news with her fans on Instagram, revealing that she and boyfriend Devlin «Duck» Hodges are set to marry.
«4x4xU forever ❤️,» Wilson, 32, captioned a series of romantic photos and videos, referencing the song «4x4xU» from her latest album, *Whirlwind*.
In the photos, the couple can be seen holding hands in front of a charming building, followed by a close-up of five framed photos and candles scattered around.
Additional black-and-white photos captured the couple sharing a kiss, and one showed Hodges holding a cowboy hat while Wilson proudly displayed her engagement ring.
Wilson also shared a fun clip of herself walking down the stairs, playfully saying «boo» while showing off her ring.
Fans and celebrity friends, including Kaitlin Butts, flooded the comments with congratulations. Butts wrote, «SHE’S WALKIN WITH A LIMP YALL. Congrats you two 🥲🫶.»
The engagement announcement comes just days after Wilson performed at the 2025 Grammys, where she was nominated for Best Country Album for *Whirlwind*.
Although the award went to Beyoncé, it was Wilson’s second consecutive nomination in this category, having won the year before for *Bell Bottom Country*.
While the couple had kept their relationship private until the ACM Awards in May 2023, Wilson and Hodges began dating in 2021.
In June 2023, Wilson shared her excitement about their future together, joking that she might propose herself.
She had previously teased her hopes for marriage during an interview with Bunnie Xo for CMT.
Wilson is also preparing for her *Whirlwind World Tour*, which will start in March and tour through Europe before wrapping up in the U.S. in November.
