Madonna shows off her iconic cone brаs as she travels down memory lane
With her most recent Instagram costume images, 64-year-old Madonna is bringing back some real memories for her admirers!
The singer posed in the pictures wearing a variety of them, some of which were fastened to beautiful corsets, and brought back her renowned cone bras.
She wore a blue velvet version over a white fishnet short-sleeved top in the first striking image, braiding her long blonde hair, and she accessorized with several silver jewelry.
The corsets shown in the other photos were gold, beige, and silver with gold sequins, and a black and white vest was also included.
Madonna topped off the entertaining post with two new photos of herself rocking a pink and black jogging suit with silver and white stars and white Crocs.
She also held up a pair of black shorts with pink detail and a pink bow, in one of them.
In the extensive explanation she added to the post, Madonna, who is preparing for her Celebration Tour, provided extra context for the pictures.
It’s always a sentimental walk down memory lane when you visit my archives, she exclaimed.
«How could I not think about all the amazing clothes I got to wear and all the amazing designers I was lucky enough to work with if I think about my journey through music over the last four decades?»
«I recall that my mother was always cold when I was a young child. She added, «Partly because she was ill, but also because she never had a coat.
«She always bought our coats with the little money we had, and I remember waiting outside for the school bus,» accompanied by my mother, who was shivering in the wintertime cold!
My mother’s sister told me, «Now You can buy all the coats your mother couldn’t afford for herself,» years later when I was successful.
In her final caption, Madonna continued to extol the virtues of her late mother, who shared her name and died in 1963.
«It’s amazing how far my shivering in the overly air-conditioned storage area where all of my costumes are kept can travel from the memory of my mother freezing in the Winter. I am so grateful beyond words,» she said.
«Every time I put on a fantastic coat, my mother comes to mind. I’m hoping she approves of my costume choices. I sincerely hope she is warm, though! 💗#madonnacelebrationtour.”
The renowned singer frequently wore cone bras and corsets while she was in the spotlight in the 1990s, as most devoted Madonna fans are aware. In fact, she was on her Blonde Ambition Tour in 1990 when one was first spotted.
It was satin and pink, garnered a lot of media attention, and went down in music history as one of the most iconic costumes.
