Megan Fox stood out at the 49th annual People’s Choice Awards on Sunday in a white dress with pink hair.

Later, the Transformers star took to Instagram to explain her choice of attire.

The 37-year-old beauty — who has been accused of changing her face — said that the frock was inspired by one of her old films.

‘Jennifer’s prom dress x Final Fantasy cosplay (cursed bride edition),’ she captioned the post.

She is referring to her 2009 movie Jenifer’s Body and even posted an image from the film, which also starred Amanda Seyfried.

In Jennifer’s Body, Fox played a hot high school student who becomes possessed by a demon, which causes her to terrorize men. The horror film has become a cult classic in recent years.

She opted to skip the red carpet, choosing instead to present an award alongside Joe Manzanillo, 47.

Jennifer’s Body was Megan’s first movie and she played the title character.

She stars as a high school beauty who is possessed by a demon, who then goes after all the guys who never stood a chance with her before.

Evil Jennifer goes on a rampage, satisfying her appetite for human flesh and systematically destroying the male population of her high school.

Her friend, Anita ‘Needy’, played by Amanda Seyfried, figures out what’s happening and tries to put an end to it.

Fox looked stunning on Sunday.

The Expendable’s actress wore a black choker with the slinky, sexy strapless dress that highlighted her new sleeve of tattoos.

Fans quickly commented on Megan’s appearance online, saying she looked different.

The People’s Choice appearance comes after Megan was accused of being ‘xenophobic’ while attempting to defend her shock new appearance, likening herself in one photo to a ‘Ukrainian blowup doll.’

The Transformers star responded to critics on Wednesday, attributing the alteration of her image to a ‘shadowy’ photo.

However, her rebuttal sparked controversy as she proudly claimed that ‘in reality,’ she resembles a ‘super expensive silicone real sex doll’ from Japan.
