Meghan Markle’s As Ever logo was «deliberately crafted» as a tribute to Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle’s crest for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, carries a heartfelt tribute to Prince Harry.
On February 18, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a video on Instagram announcing the rebranding of her upcoming company from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever.

She also launched a website featuring a photo of herself and her daughter, Princess Lilibet, 3.
The logo features a palm tree, symbolizing the couple’s California home, and two hummingbirds, a favorite of Prince Harry’s, according to an insider.
«The shape surrounding the birds and tree was carefully designed to create a personal and distinctive emblem,» the source explained.

Soon after the logo’s release, some pointed out that it resembled the coat of arms of Porreres, a village in Mallorca, which also depicts a palm tree flanked by two birds.
An insider added, «During the design process, extensive global trademark searches were conducted.»
Prince Harry had previously written about the significance of hummingbirds in his 2023 memoir Spare.

He recalled a hummingbird’s unexpected appearance in his house following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and reflected on how the bird is regarded as a spirit guide in various cultures.
«A mate said: Could be a sign, you know?» Harry wrote. «Visitors, as it were. Aztecs thought them reincarnated warriors. Spanish explorers called them ‘resurrection birds.'»
The sighting of the hummingbird, which flew near the playpen for their daughter Lilibet, caught Harry’s attention, and he wondered if their house was a «detour or a destination.»

The As Ever crest’s choice of hummingbirds is just one of several personal elements in the design.
Meghan also recalled in a 2022 The Cut interview how the two palm trees at their Montecito home caught Harry’s eye during their first visit.
«One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,» she said. «He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.'»

Meghan also shared that their son, Prince Archie, 5, now greets the trees every day with, «Hi, Momma. Hi, Papa.»
The logo is also featured as the profile picture for the official Instagram account of As Ever, which was unveiled on February 18.
The design appears in tan and cream for the handle @aseverofficial.
Meghan’s new brand shares its name with a clothing store in New York City, and the store’s owner, Mark Kolski, addressed the similarity on Instagram, confirming that there is no affiliation between the two.
