When one of her co-stars picked up her son Rhodes for the first time, Emma Roberts opened out about the touching experience she had.
During her Tuesday, July 9 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 33-year-old star of American Horror Story revealed that her
3-year-old son still does not comprehend the serious nature of his contacts with other renowned actors or the demands of her career as an actress.
«I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ when he came to the Maybe I Do set and Diane Keaton picked him up. He definitely didn’t understand my job.»
«I’m crying more now than the day you were born,» Roberts said to Kathryn Hahn, the guest presenter.
The actress said that she «was trying to enjoy the moment» and hadn’t taken «pictures» to remember the unique occasion when Hahn inquired.
«Huge error. Big, Roberts continued, drawing laughter from the crowd. «Whenever I feel like I’m paying attention. I think, «I ought to have taken a picture.» Why was I here? Take a picture.
She acknowledged that her son might not understand certain things, but there were other things he did learn, such as the varied haircuts that go along with her numerous film roles.
«He says, ‘Take it off,’ understanding when my hair looks different.» And I’m thinking, «It’s too late to take it off.» Ultimately, I am able to, but not at this time,» Roberts chuckled.
