Reasons Behind Kylie Jenner’s Absence at the 2025 SAG Awards, Even Though Boyfriend Timothée Chalamet Took Home the Best Actor Award
On Sunday, February 23, Timothée Chalamet, 29, attended the 2025 SAG Awards with his mother after being nominated for his role in A Complete Unknown, the Bob Dylan biopic.
He won the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role, but Kylie Jenner, 27, was notably absent from the celebration.

Sources later confirmed that Jenner had not been expected to attend and was not on the RSVP list.
Her absence followed the sudden death of Jesus Guerrero, a beloved hairstylist who had worked closely with Jenner.
Guerrero, aged 34, had styled Jenner for various high-profile events, including the 2025 Golden Globes and her cover shoots for Harper’s Bazaar in March 2020 and ELLE in October 2024.

Despite not being at the SAG Awards, Jenner has been a constant presence by Chalamet’s side during the awards season, attending the Golden Globes in January, the BAFTAs, and the Berlin Film Festival.
A source told that Jenner has enjoyed supporting her boyfriend throughout his career milestones, highlighting that she’s fully invested in their relationship and makes an effort to be there for him.
The couple’s relationship first sparked rumors in April 2023, and by September, they went public with their romance, sharing affectionate moments at a Beyoncé concert.

Their bond has only grown since, with more public outings, including a cozy dinner date in New York City and their appearance at the A Complete Unknown premiere’s afterparty.
Jenner has also supported Chalamet at premieres and afterparties for his other projects, such as Wonka.
