Sabrina Carpenter can’t contain her excitement over Dolly Parton in a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the «Please Please Please» music video.

On Tuesday, February 18, Dolly Parton, 79, shared a heartwarming TikTok video of herself and Sabrina Carpenter, 25, bonding on the set of their music video for their duet version of Carpenter’s song “Please Please Please.”

“Two blondes are one thing, but a collaboration with @Sabrina Carpenter is something else 💋,” Parton captioned the post.

“Behind the scenes of ‘Please Please Please,’ out now…”

In the video, Parton is seen wearing pink embellished cat-eye sunglasses as Carpenter excitedly joins her on set. Carpenter, clearly thrilled, tells Parton, “You look so cute!”

The duo then share a moment as they meet by a blue truck, where Parton greets Carpenter with a friendly, “Hi, how are you doing?” to which Carpenter responds, “How are you?

You look amazing!” They continue chatting and laughing, both in the truck and on the back of the vehicle as they film.

“We’re in a truck,” Parton says to the camera, while Carpenter adds, “We’re in a pickup truck. Big hair. It’s all just… the stars are aligning.”

Carpenter continues to compliment Parton’s outfit as she stands outside the truck. “It’s the glasses.

They just automatically make it like, you mean business,” she says.

Later in the video, Parton jokes from behind the wheel, “I never was a great driver. I never even liked to drive.”

Other clips show the pair filming scenes in the pickup truck against a sunny backdrop and sharing a heartfelt hug on set.

Carpenter released the music video for their duet on Valentine’s Day, February 14, as part of the deluxe edition of her album Short n’ Sweet.

On Instagram, she expressed her excitement, writing, “Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!!

I am so honored to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. ‘Short n’ Sweet’ deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!! Love you forever @dollyparton 🤍🦋.”

The vintage-inspired music video appears to feature a subtle reference to Carpenter’s ex, actor Barry Keoghan, and shows the two stars driving down a country road while being pursued by the police, with a handcuffed man lying in the back of the truck.

This storyline seems to follow the original video, which also featured Keoghan, 32.
