Selena Gomez Stuns in Beaded Silver Gown for Her 2025 BAFTA Nomination

Selena Gomez is making a dazzling statement at the 2025 BAFTAs, where she’s celebrating her first-ever nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Emilia Pérez.

On February 16, the 32-year-old actress arrived at the prestigious London event in a custom Schiaparelli creation—a beaded silver gown with a black off-the-shoulder bodice.

The dress, adorned with shimmering sequins, crystals, rhinestones, and tassels, was designed to create a striking «vibrating» effect, according to the fashion house.

She completed the ensemble with sleek black heels and radiant Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including archival earrings, two bracelets, and an 18k white gold ring featuring a diamond over 10 carats.

Keeping the focus on her ensemble, Gomez wore her hair slicked back for a sleek, polished look.

The 2025 BAFTA Awards, hosted by David Tennant, are taking place at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

While speaking with red carpet preshow host Clara Amfo, Gomez shared her excitement over the nomination and hinted at her openness to more musical roles in the future.

In the competitive Best Supporting Actress category, she faces off against Isabella Rossellini (Conclave), Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Jamie Lee Curtis (The Last Showgirl), and Ariana Grande (Wicked).

This awards season has been a whirlwind for Gomez, who was also recognized at the Golden Globes as part of the ensemble casts of Emilia Pérez and Only Murders in the Building.

She previously won the Best Actress award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, sharing the honor with co-stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón.

Gomez dazzled on the red carpet in a Ralph Lauren suit at Palm Springs and a Prada gown at the Golden Globes, where she showcased her marquise-cut engagement ring from Benny Blanco.

Though they skipped the Globes carpet, Blanco’s affectionate shoulder kiss was caught on camera.

Engaged in December, Gomez later shared her gratitude for her Golden Globe nomination, celebrating *Emilia Pérez* co-star Zoe Saldaña.

In the critically acclaimed *Emilia Pérez*, she plays Jessi, the devoted wife of a feared drug lord (Karla Sofía Gascón), who secretly identifies as female, solidifying her status as a rising force in cinema.
