TALK OF THE TOWN: Madonna’s prowling cat performance steals the spotlight, disrupting an odd London show

Once celebrated as one of London’s most avant-garde theatrical experiences, the You Me Bum Bum Train recently saw pop icon Madonna stir up some controversy during a performance.

The 66-year-old singer reportedly «disrupted» the interactive show by crawling around on all fours like a cat, much to the confusion of fellow audience members.

Held in a repurposed central London office building, the immersive experience takes participants through a series of interconnected rooms, each offering a real-life scenario.

The 45-minute journey is tightly scheduled, with each scene lasting only a few minutes. However, the timeline was thrown off when Madonna entered a makeshift zoo scene where passengers were asked to act as animals.

Although the scene was meant to last five minutes, Madonna spent 15 minutes padding around the room, meowing like a cat.

«Her behavior messed up the whole performance, as everything operates on a strict schedule,» a witness shared. «With only about 70 people attending each night, the timing is crucial, and each participant moves on at precise five-minute intervals.»

Despite the disruption, no one dared confront the star, with one actor stating that her actions effectively «ruined» the experience.

Prince Harry is said to have once «crowd-surfed» over unsuspecting strangers at the event, which has also drawn the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, Dominic West, and Kate Winslet.

Details about the experiences at each performance remain largely unknown, as the show’s creators, art students Kate Bond and Morgan Lloyd, require attendees to sign confidentiality agreements.

Madonna was approached for comment last night.
