While supporting his hometown team, the Cleveland Guardians, the NFL star was seen making out with the singer.
Travis Kelce is «all too well» aware of the enjoyment that can be had on a baseball date with girlfriend Taylor Swift!
The 35-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs talked candidly about the couple’s recent trip to Yankees Stadium to see the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians play the first game of the MLB American League Championship.
The NFL star, who said that he was «a Cleveland kid» and hoped the Browns would win a «world series,» said the game was not without its setbacks as his team fell to the Yankees 2–5.
«I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everyone, so it was mixed feelings.» On the Wednesday, October 16th, edition of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, he recalled, «All our friends [came].»
«We had an incredible crew that was with us and hung out with us.»
He went on, «And, you know, it was, it was fun.» «It was still a thrilling game, even though the [Guardians] couldn’t execute it.»
And seeing Yankee Stadium was awesome because I’ve always wanted to see that place live in a hostile playoff setting, and it didn’t let me down, dude. The Yankees, the players, the supporters, all of you, dude.
«It was fantastic,» he summed up.
During the playoffs event, Travis was seen making up with Swift while sporting a baseball cap emblazoned with the phrase «Midnight Rodeo.»
Online videos showed the Grammy winner and Super Bowl champion shaking hands and giving each other high fives. Swift was seen putting her hand on Kelce’s shoulder at one point.
Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, the Kansas City Chiefs star and his brother have always been ardent supporters of their local team. On New Heights, they revealed that they have been Cleveland fans since before the team’s name change from the Indians to the Guardians.
Jason said, «We just grew up with the Indians in the ’90s, and we just loved baseball so much because they were so good.» «How many playoff or world series games did we attend?»
«I attended the All-Star game.» «You attended the World Series,» said Travis. «I recall just riding the fast downtown and purchasing a $5–$10 ticket to attend sports.
Or we would all simply get on the quick and head downtown if a friend had an extra ticket for me
The Guardians suffered a 3-6 loss against the Yankees on Tuesday.
Two further games between the two clubs are planned for Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18, and three more games might be played on Saturday, October 19, Monday, October 21, and Tuesday, October 22.
In the World Series, the victor will either play the Los Angeles Dodgers or the New York Mets.
Since she started dating her football player boyfriend, Swift has started going to sporting events on a somewhat regular basis. She has been to the Chiefs’ first two games this season.
Since confirming her relationship with Travis in October 2023, the singer of «So High School» has also gone to 13 NFL games.
