Adele Shows Off Engagement Ring Again During Las Vegas Residency
During one of her recent performances at Caesar’s Palace, where she is now performing in Las Vegas, Adele showed off her enormous, glittering engagement ring.
During her performance of I Drink Wine, the 36-year-old vocalist of Rolling In the Deep held out her palm, making the ring almost visible from space.
She sang, «I need some substance in my life, something real/something that feels true,» while holding her hand with the ring aloft.
And she has discovered that in Rich Paul, her fiancé and sports agent, whom she has been seeing since 2021.
Since being engaged in August, she has performed the same gesture with her rings each time she has performed the song.
The 42-year-old founder of Klutch Sports Group proposed in Tottenham, North London, the singer’s hometown.
That same month, Adele revealed her diamond ring and announced to her fans that she was «getting married» while she was in Munich.
‘Will you marry me?’ she read aloud to the crowd.
‘I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married,’ Adele said, to thunderous ovation as she flashed her engagement ring.
When her residency in Las Vegas comes to an end later this month, the singer of Someone Like You had already stated that she would be taking a lengthy hiatus from performing.
It raises the possibility that Adele is getting ready to make room for a child with Rich Paul.
She previously expressed her desire to have a girl, and she and her ex-husband Simon Konecki already have a 12-year-old boy named Angelo.
During her May residency in Las Vegas, Adele said to her audience that she would like to have a child «after she was done with all obligations and her shows.»
«I want to have a baby once I finish all of my shows and obligations,» she stated.
I already have a son, therefore I want a female.
She may be the one I love the most in the world, but I also think she’s the one I despise the most; that’s what I think will happen.
‘She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?’
Adele’s Las Vegas residency will stage its last show on November 23, 2024.
