Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater brought some Wicked charm to the National Board of Review Gala during their sweet date night
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater confirmed their relationship in July 2023, and on January 7, 2024, the couple enjoyed a «Wonderful» date night at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York City.
The *Wicked* costars shared a sweet moment, wrapping their arms around each other for an intimate photo, with Slater gazing at the camera and Grande gently closing her eyes.
Grande dazzled in a custom Loewe pastel pink backless satin gown, featuring a square-shaped bodice that cinched at her waist. The gown flowed just above her white rounded-toe pumps, complemented by a matching pink satin shawl.
Her blonde hair was styled in a sleek high ponytail, with her baby bangs swept to the side, and her makeup featured shimmery pink eyeshadow and mauve lip gloss.
She accessorized with diamond stud earrings, a diamond choker necklace, and two diamond rings, one of which was pink.
Slater looked sharp in a black satin woven suit paired with a white dress shirt, complementing his girlfriend’s elegant look.
The couple celebrated their work on *Wicked* and the film’s accolades at the gala. Grande plays Glinda the Good Witch, while Slater stars as Boq. Their fellow costars, Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, were also in attendance.
In December, *Wicked* was named the best film of 2024 by the National Board of Review, and director Jon M. Chu was honored as the best director.

The couple met while filming *Wicked* in late 2022 and began their relationship after both separated from their previous partners in 2023.
