Ariana Grande shares fresh behind-the-scenes photos from Wicked and gushes over her fans
Just hours before her new movie, Wicked, was about to debut in theaters across the US, Ariana Grande gushed about how much she loved her fans.
Early on Friday morning, the singer and actress, who frequently breaks down in interviews for the film alongside co-star Cynthia Erivo, paid a heartfelt homage on her Instagram Stories.
«My dear, dear fans,» the 31-year-old said. «Who is surprised that I’m feeling so emotional today? I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.»
«I feel like I don’t really get the chance to tell you enough about the impact you’ve had on mine,» the hitmaker, who has been in the business since she was 13, recalled. «Often when we meet in person, you tell me that you’ve grown up with me or about the impact my work has had on your life.»
The letter was written on «the morning of the Wicked release,» the artist disclosed.
With further premieres planned for next week, Part 1 of the Broadway musical adaptation debuted in the US and around Europe and Asia.
Thanking her fans «for the many ways in which you’ve held me over the years,» the singer expressed gratitude.
«Over the past ten years, you have consistently supported me and helped heal my heart, and I couldn’t imagine my life without you.» «I mean, in every possible interpretation,» she replied.
After Grande’s marriage to real estate entrepreneur Dalton Gomez ended while she was working on the Wicked, she met and fell in love with 32-year-old co-star Ethan Slater.
The hitmaker, who has 376 million Instagram followers, assured them, «I will never take your love, support, or our unbreakable bond for granted.»
In addition, Grande released some brand-new set pictures, behind-the-scenes stills, and a video from the months-long English production.
Grande is in what looks to be the woodland area around the school, sporting a pink and purple jacket.
