Benny Blanco filled Selena Gomez’s bathtub with queso for Valentine’s Day, saying, «When your fiancée isn’t much of a flowers girl»
Benny Blanco gave Selena Gomez a truly one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day gift, covering her house with tortilla chips and filling her bathtub with queso cheese.
Clearly, he knows how to win over his fiancée’s heart—and her appetite.
On February 14, the 36-year-old music producer shared a fun Instagram video showcasing his food-inspired surprise for Selena, 32.
The video featured a trail of tortilla chips leading to a bathroom where another pile spelled out «I heart you,» before revealing a bathtub filled with queso. Nearby, a bowl of chips sat on a stool for dipping.
While sharing the scene, Blanco filmed himself dipping a chip into the cheesy bath, taking a bite with a grin. “When your [fiancée] isn’t much of a flowers girl,” he wrote in the caption.
This sweet gesture came a day after the couple revealed their collaboration on Gomez’s upcoming album, *I Said I Love You First*. The album’s first single, «Scared of Loving You,» dropped on February 13, with a lyric video also released.
Set for release on March 21, the album marks the pair’s first joint project.
Gomez shared her excitement on Instagram, announcing, “I always trick you guys 🥰. My NEW album *I Said I Love You First* with my best friend @itsbennyblanco is out on 3/21 🖤.”
The actress shared, «Our first song, ‘Scared of Loving You,’ is out now on streaming platforms, with merchandise and signed items available for pre-order.
We can’t wait to share this project with you!» Benny Blanco sweetly replied in the comments, «I love you baby.»
The album will celebrate their relationship, giving fans an intimate look into their journey, from before they met to their future together.
The couple announced their engagement in December 2024 after over a year of dating.
Blanco also shared how food plays a big role in their connection.
Ahead of his cookbook release, *Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends*, he explained that he loves making people happy by creating experiences, showing that he cares through thoughtful gestures like having peanut butter-stuffed dates ready for guests.
