Beyoncé breaks another milestone, now holding the most RIAA-certified titles of any female artist
Beyoncé has just broken a new record!
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) revealed that the superstar now holds the most RIAA-certified titles of any female artist, with a total of 103 certifications.
Her latest album earned Platinum status, while the track «Texas Hold ‘Em» was certified 2x Platinum. Additionally, the second single, «16 Carriages,» received a Gold certification, and her previous album Renaissance was awarded 2x Platinum status.
Beyoncé’s recent certifications extend beyond her latest albums. Her collaborations with Jay-Z, «Drunk in Love» (2013) and «Crazy in Love» (2003), both achieved 8x Platinum status.
RIAA certifications are awarded based on sales: Gold for 500,000 units, Platinum for 1 million, and Multi-Platinum for each additional million. Diamond certifications are given for 10 million units sold.
RIAA President Michele Ballantyne celebrated Beyoncé’s achievement, recognizing her talent and impact across genres.
The 32-time Grammy winner’s milestone follows Taylor Swift’s 6x Platinum certification for The Tortured Poets Department. Meanwhile, Shaboozey’s «A Bar Song (Tipsy)» went 5x Platinum, and Billie Eilish led with 10 certifications in 2024.
Beyoncé’s latest RIAA achievements follow her record-breaking 11 Grammy nominations on Nov. 8, bringing her total to 99, the most nominations of any artist in Grammy history.
This year, she received nods in multiple categories, including Best Country Solo Performance for «16 CARRIAGES,» Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus for «II MOST WANTED,» and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Post Malone for «LEVII’S JEANS.»
She also earned nominations for Best Country Song, Best Country Album, and Best Americana Performance.
Before the 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé will perform at the NFL Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens halftime show on Christmas Day, which will be streamed live on Netflix.
