Beyoncé has pledged a generous $2.5 million towards the Los Angeles fire relief efforts, showing her support for the city with the message, “Los Angeles, we stand with you.”
On January 12, her nonprofit foundation, BeyGOOD, announced the substantial donation through an Instagram post, where it shared the launch of the Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund.

The fund is dedicated to helping families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, along with churches and community centers offering immediate relief. The post expressed, «Los Angeles, we stand with you 🫶🏽.»
Beyoncé encouraged her followers to visit the BeyGOOD website for more information on the foundation and how they can support the families affected by the fires.
This donation comes after a heartbreaking update from the L.A. County Medical Examiner, confirming that the death toll from the ongoing wildfires had reached 24.

The fires, especially the destructive Palisades blaze, have caused extensive damage, scorching over 23,000 acres and remaining only 11% contained.
Other public figures, such as Tika Sumpter, Halle Berry, Paris Hilton, and Eva Longoria, have stepped up to help, offering both financial support and essential goods.
Hilton, who experienced the loss of her Malibu residence in the fires, made a $100,000 donation and pledged to match further contributions up to an additional $100,000.

Longoria, deeply moved by the tragedy, contributed $50,000 to *This Is About Humanity*, aiming to provide aid to those affected by the calamity.
